Welcome to

Norden station was opened in 1995 but has many interesting features to look out for.

• Can you spot Skew Arch bridge where the old tramway crosses over the Swanage branch?
• How many heritage cranes are there in the sidings? They used to work in Southampton docks but moved to Swanage and rebuilt the railway piece by piece, rail by rail. They are maintained by our volunteers.
• The ticket office came from East Stoke Crossing. It was originally the crossing hut!
• Where the main road crosses the railway, you can view our unloading pad. This is where rolling stock is loaded/unloaded from large trailers.
• We often see deer around here as they wander between the woodlands looking for grazing.
